My rear view mirror has become unstuck. I've tried various double sided tapes and a loctite concoction, but within a few days it drops of again
What have you used with a degree of success?
Thanks Andy

Car Plan (Ithink) do a specific epoxy / glue for rear view mirrors. I got it from my local motor factors.

Good opportunity to fit a different mirror with map lights (MGTF with LED map lights for example) that actually illuminate the cabin usefully. just need to extend the three wires for the hoop light - behind the driver's seat is where I have found them in the S, Tam, Sag and Wedge.

Have you tried double-sided tape specifically designed to attach rear view mirrors? There is a special type of tape designed to adher to the glass.

This. Plus the glass needs to be spotlessly clean before application.

Thanks guys. I think some sort of tape is the way to go as you need the instant grab due to its position on the screen

I tried various sticky pads, even some scrounged from a professional screen fitter but this is the only thing that worked for me.
