I don't know how many are left - but I've got one!
Only another 399 to account for now

There was someone that looked into this and came up with a figure around 200 left. Dont know how he came to that figure but was a mixture of TVR/DVLA info I believe. I would be interested to know if anyone can shed some light.

Well there are 57 V8S's listed on the PH 'fleet' pages (although some of those are obvious duplicates).

Anyone ever thought of starting an 'S' register similar to the one that Graham does for the Cerbera ?

177...........B****r. I'm still after my old one and scan the classifieds regularly. Looks like I have a 50:50 chance it's still alive.

Does anyone remember that link to the DVLA that can tell you the last date of change of ownership?

According to the teg check TVR listed yours as a 290s so its not been counted in the 177

Thats the problem, some of the V8S cars are down on the V5 form as 290s, I recommend you write to the DVLA, as I did, send the V5 back to them and tell them its not a 290s ots a V8S, AFAIK they have this info on file as so many have sent their V5 back, that it comes back no worries listed as a V8S. Worth doing for you guys with the 290s registration, also stops any confusion if you ever have to sell it, there will always be people that think it odd it says 290s and may be a write off converted......?

IMHO

Would be intersting to find the total out though, I'd bet there are at least 250 up and running still.
Might be worth someone dropping a letter to Sprint to bring the 290 V5 issue to the fore and then do a recount of the DVLA in a years time.
