Within the last month I have looked at the TVRplus.com website where they were having a 'massive' clear out sale. On the page were baseball caps complete with tiny metal TVR badges reduced to half price, £7.99. Put in an order, then discovered I had to buy TWO because of the mininum order of £10. Anyway after being charged £20 via Visa (inclusive of postage and packing). Surprise surprise, I have heard nothing or seen the caps. At the bottom of the website, the company trades as AVONDALE INTERNATIONAL and even gives a phone number, I have left messages on the 'now familiar' answerphone and yes you've guessed it, I have had no reply.
My question is: Any body else had dealings with this company? Have they gone under? Or just plain useless at communicating? I phoned the stores dept. of TVR and they say the guy used to trade with TVR, but not since the Russian has taken over.
I now await to see if I have been charged by Visa, if so they will get a call.
If any body out there can shed some light on the matter, I would love to hear. Otherwise all you guys thinking about buying, BEWARE!

The company is owned/run by Chris Swift who is Peter Wheeler's brother-in-law. He's a really decent bloke and I hope this is just a glitch. He also has a coach works in Portugal, so maybe he's out of the country?
