Those of you who have been around the TVR S Series for a while, might remember the old "tvrsseries.com" website, set up by Colin (Pies) in about 2003. His site was a mine of information he had gathered and added to over the years, and was used by most S owners as a reference.

The domain name expired, and the site disappeared, in March 2013. I do not know why, and I wasn't been able to contact him. I do know that the domain name now appears to belong to an Australian online gaming company.

I had copies of some of the documents Colin had on his site, particularly data sheets for the various S models, and I decided at the time to build a website at https://www.tvrsseries.co.uk containing all that information and links etc, because I wouldn't want that information to be lost to the TVR S Community. It’s included in “useful links” on the Pistonheads S Series forum.

That was 10 years ago, but I thought that I might just remind more recent owners that the site exists.

I should add that it’s not a “free hosting” site where the page creator (me) gets paid by advertisers etc. I actually pay a web hosting fee so that there are no cookies collected, no adverts, and absolutely no income to me. All this information is available free on the site.

Hello Andrew, I have used your site for reference many times over the last ten years and am extremely grateful that it exists. The guides and diary entries on tvrgit.com have been a godsend and it is one of my first 'ports of call' when I'm looking for information or help.

If you would like a small donation to help keep the site running, I for one would be happy to chip in.

Thank you for continuing to provide all this valuable information ensuring it is not lost. We are a relatively small community and the service your sites provide is much appreciated. thumbup

Thanks for your comments. Just to be clear, though, that wasn't an appeal for donations or anything, I was just pointing out that neither of them are commercial sites and I don't make a single penny out of either of them. They are just hobby sites (that could be getting out of control!).
