So what did you do Clive, take out the wadding to make it a straight through......? Or did you give it the 'Cherry Bomb' treatment? sounds great doesnt it Mines in for a new CAM so havent driven it all week but still cant get used to how much better and louder it is since mine was done, cant wait to get it back!

hi mike, took out the front silencer, replaced with 2"pipe , left the rear silencer alone, but the pipes behind the silencer were re routed so as to give 2 pipes apart at the back instead of the old twin pipes coming out at the middle, whole system in standard 2" stainless, but with 3" pipes coming out at the back.
it is so loud, it gives a nice deep sounding rumble that it didn`t have before, but when you boot it it`s awesome!!!
I`ve created a monster!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hijack your thread Paul.... Got to agree with you mate, mine can be left for weeks, I have never used anyu type of charger and it always fires up first time....! Seems you might have some competition for the loudest S next year

Clive, interesting you chose to work on the front silencer, why not the rear one? Mine doesnt have two, just one at the rear........I think? As its further forward does that affect the back pressure, I thought the V6 needed back pressure? Could be wrong but thought I had heard some of the guys talking about back pressure on the V6's and the need to lewave alone the front silencer.....? I could however be talking complete bollox, I am a mechaincal numpty after all

OOOOOOOH, my poor ears, wot I cant hear you son, wait until the car has stooped. Clivef has produced a monster !!!! never, have I heard such a noise, at 3 1/2 thousand rpm it has a raspy growl and the over run is awesome. Now I really need some mufflers and I am having to keep the right foot off of the gas whilst in our village.

mike, oh sorry doddz, threw away front silencer, mine only has the back one as well, just put new pipe in in place of where the front one used to be, I just didn`t expect it to be qiute so loud, I think it`s becaues of the 3" at the rear letting all the gasses resinate!!
