braided brake lines
Discussion
You can get braided brake hoses from ACT. Definitely well worth it. I have them on both my Griff and my Mini. On the non servo'd brakes on my mini the braking was instantly so much better. Only downside is that when fiddiling with calipers etc, you cannot clamp the hoses.

Sorry, been away to a no-internet holiday. Ok. It was a prison
Anyway, I had a fair argument in the summer about the correct end-fitting (convex or concave flare). After much correspondence and cross-checking, goodridge pointed out that the original "Ford" part (which looks concave) is actually a combined fitting, convex outer and concave inner - ie it fits either type of caliper - easier and cheaper to mass produce than different specific ends.
A check inside a new caliper showed that the Goodridge end (convex, ie sticky-outy) IS the correct fitting. Mark at Demon Tweeks now knows all about this so theirs would be a safe buy. Probably.
the ordered brake lines didn`t turn up for the weekend
, so that means as I need to use the s next saturday, that I won`t have much time during the week to get the job done, so, to speed things up when they do arrive will it cause a bleeding problem if I remove the old lines this weekend, ready to put the new ones on one evening this week?
assuming that if the little air breather hole in top of reservoir is sealed by a bit of plasticine etc, then the air lock would not let all the fliud run out?
or am I just being impatient, because I`m itching to do something to the s other than clean it!!!

No problems taking the lines off now and fitting the new ones later in the week .. you're going to be bleeding like cazy getting all the air out anyway (get a helper to press hte pedal whilst you keep an eye on levels and the bleeding part) so no worries that you're messing anything up. Allow up to a litre of fluid to get the bleeding job done afterwards
