I went out yesterday with roof down bobble hat on and got a load of abuse from a white van man (men !)
I trundled along the A45 for 20 miles to give the car its weekly run. The white van pulled alonside at 70 mph and then slowed down infront...mucked about for a bit and then jestered that I was w a n ker for the next 2 miles. At the next roundabout he got stuck on the outside lane and I asked him if he would like to pull over and have a chat ?
But he declined !!!
Whats the matter with people out there ?
This has happened twice to me now !
Daft thing is, if I was a 6 foot 3" ginger haired, agressive nutter (oops, I am !) they could have been in trouble !!
As it was it was just a little blip on a nice run out.
But is it just me, have any others had run ins with total meatheads ?

Yep Mr Clifford, had a very similar thing happen to me today, went out for a quick spin and had some a***hole in an Audi flash and drive 2 inches from my back bumper, just because I had dared to pull out safely, indicating and leaving plenty of room. People seem to be getting more and more aggresive. Not sure why, but it's starting to get on my nerves!
Anyway, ended up having a great time around the lanes near Silverstone...u know the ones we all got lost on during SCH3

Well, I felt as if I was in a convertible this weekend.
Drove 150 miles to see friends to find that, following the 36,000 service, the heater fan wasn't working ! Actually, neither was the temperature guage ! but the ice warning light was irrepressible. At least I had the excitement of driving through the Ardennes to warm me but The Missus was NOT in a smiley mood.
Had a quick look before setting off for the return trip this morning, fuses OK and, after a 4 minute idle, tne temp guage came back.
Yeeehaa I thought but, as soon as we set off, the guage failed to indicate anything and the fans were never heard from.
Looking foward to cold shoulder and toungue for supper.
Doh !

But I was thinking, If I was in my day car (MGZR160) this guy wouldnt have batted an eyelid !
I would have just been another car.
Guy obviously has a problem..lack of brain cells etc etc
But I had a problem back in the summer too. Mrs Cliff and I were driving on a super hot day in August and came through a village near Kimbolton and had a face off with a tractor coming the other way. The guy just sat there in the middle of the road and refused to budge. Although it was my right of way etc. He just parked in the road and made me reverse back. What a prat ! We had a chat and he started off with "you boys in your flash cars blah blah" We were in a hurry to big up Little Cliff from school so I had to give him.
But I really think that some people need to grow up.
I am really not interested in their life so why are they intent in intruding in mine ?
Anyhow, I`m off to the gym now to bash a punchbag !!!!!!!!!

Saturday was the first run in my S4 with the top off (no, not that top) for my wife, and only the second for me. What a fantastic day. Derbyshire Peak District, Chatsworth Park, completely blue sky, autumn colours, freezing cold (not enough clothes on) -- a total S experience. You can't leave an S in the garage on a day like that. It's what you buy it for. I think.
