Paintwork question
Discussion
I was taking advantage of it being above freezing today and giving the S a decent wash and wax. While doing so I noticed two areas on the paint-work where the outer enamel has been chipped off leaving the paint exposed. The biggest patch is on the pillar above the windscreen. I noticed it a few months back when I believe it was caused (stone chip), but it is now starting to grow. The other is on the boot lid and is new. Probably caused by someone being careless.
Anyone know if I could paint on some clear enamel? Would that be worth a try? Or any other suggestions. I've put on lots of wax for now to hopefully protect it.

Mine is the same. I think TVR used acrylic 2-pack paint with possibly a lacquer on top as well. Not got around to paintwork yet so can't suggest anything other than getting your local 'chips away' franchise (or similar) to come and have a look. Think most people just end up getting a full respray eventually as it cures the inevitable stone-chip crazing as well. If you are going to experiment, you could try on a hidden panel like under the door trim or similar.

It will look like the rest of my DIY
Worth a try though, as you say.
