anti-roll bar drop links

Just received my ant-roll bar drop links from Steve Heath, don`t know how many others have got them? but thought I would mention that they are absolutely beautiful, the quality of the engineering is superb. Havn`t fitted them yet so can`t comment on performance, but I don`t really care, they look good just sitting on my desk at work, the rose joints are so smooth you just can`t seem to stop playing with them!

Well judging from the feedback I've had, Griffs, Chimaeras, Tuscans and Cerberas have all shown a major improvement in handling and in particular body roll. see www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=237485&f=8&h=0 for the latest.

Yep Tim, not far away i`m just the otherside of Canterbury.
Steve said he might produce some as executive toys..... at least they have moved from the office desk to the kitchen table! It might be a few weeks before I can comment on performance as i`m also still fitting polybushes, Gaz dampers and bigger drilled and vented discs, big red callipers etc etc.
Got to agree, the drop links look superb and the quality of the joints are indeed superb, Im gonna try to fit them this weekend so will try to give some feedback as to the improvement. Did you fit yours already and if so what were your thoughts and how long did/does it take to fit them??
I want to do it this week as im also about to get the Gaz Gold shocks fitted, and that will make a big improvement so want to see what the difference is before they are fitted. Ill report on the Gaz Gold shocks also in due course? They are the dogs danglies im told?

re: How long do they take to fit.
Fitted mine a few weeks back. All very straight forward, a couple of hours should do it. I spent longer getting the rusted split pins out of the ARB than on any other part of the job. The instructions highlight the need to arrange the spacers so that the link remains vertical - I found I had to cut the rubber bush in two to achieve this, putting half each side of the rose joint on the ARB.
I can't report on handling improvements yet as the old girl is not back on the road yet, I'm still finishing the winter re-furbish jobs (doors mirrors, lights, chassis etc. etc. ).
