The internal trim panel on the driver's door of my S4 is bowing inwards slightly so the vertical ali strut that makes a fake quarter light no longer sits snugly in the cut-out and the top edge of the panel is away from the window by about 6mm in the centre. I think the external door panel is also slightly more bowed than the passenger door (maybe 1-2mm in the centre). It's annoying. Could it have something to do with the window mechanism? I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Mark, think you'll find that a 6mm tolerance on S door panels is within spec'!
The door card is easy to get off - just remember the 7mm bolts on the arm rest,. and the card will then pop out. You should be able to check window lifts etc with a torch via the holes in the inner grp skin.
