Hi All

I was topping up my clutch fluid earlier today and noticed the existing fluid was past it best (crude oil look alike), I would like to flush the old fluid out and replace with totally new fluid. I looked for a bleed nipple in order to do this but couldn't see one can anyone tell me the best way of achieving this task

Thanks in advance

First locate the slave cylinder. It's on the nearside of the bellhousing, above the starter. There is a very small space between the gearbox and chassis.

The clutch pipe goes in the bottom of the slave cylinder and the bleed nipple is above it. Loosen the nipple and the fluid will run out. Alternatively, get a bit of tubing and use it to empty the master cylinder.

Then fill with new fluid and bleed as normal.

Don't turn the slave cylinder over for ease of access to the nipple - the bleed nipple should be on the top.

Hi Ian

Sorry about the thread hijack, we were just wondering if you are still interested in the Raggit Run in August, if so, can you mail ThatPhillBrettGuy for details of our Team website.

Cheers
