I just fitted a new alternator (S2 V6) after the old one packed up. After I took the old one off I found a short length of green wire with a spade connector on the floor which I hadn't noticed. I think this must be the "charging/warning light connector via a 1/4 inch spade connector " mentioned in the bible. I can see where it fits on the alternator but I buggered if I can find the other end to put it back together (the bible wiring diagram doesn't help much either). I think this must explain why the battery light didn't go out in the first place. (maybe an unnecessary new alternator?)

Anyway could someone post me a pic/view of where this wire goes so I know where to look, or possible a verbal description.

cheers
jake
