A bit thanks to David Gerald and Renovo.
Fitted new springs and dampers to S1 over the weekend, old ones original fit so well past sell by date. What a difference, the car much tighter and sits just right now, the S2 springs working much better. I adjusted the dampers to 8 clicks and that seems to suit the car just fine. If you haven't done this yet, get a set. I cant recommend them enough.
Also had time to wash and clean and use all the Renovo products and they have put new life into my old roof. Can enjoy summmer with it now and put off replacing it for quite a while.

For a resonable layout, £279 for the shocks and £70 for the roof products what money well spent.

Enjoy the good weather all and hope to see you out and about.

Jim,
What were the rates of the springs and was your settings 8 clicks from soft. Also did you get the geometry checked/re-set?

Not totally sure of the spring rates, but I got the fully assembled springs and dampers with bushes and new bolts supplied by David Gerald TVR. They can tell you the rates. Plus the springs are adjustable, take the pressure off the spring and the bottom plate turns to adjust the vehicle hight, dont know if this adjusts the rate as it compresses the spring a bit?. Again I left it as it is and its fine.
The 8 clicks were from soft, 16 in total from soft to hard.
Didnt have the geometry checked as it was sunday when finished, but to be honest it handles so nice I dont see the need.
Am gonna have the who lot checked once I fit new rose jointed drop links at the front.

David Gerald advitise on PH or type in the name into Google.

just for the rears mate. Good springs and shocks dont come cheap, but for just over £100 per coner doesn't seem like bad price to me
