Having just signed up for SCH I was wondering if anyone fancies forming a convoy from Southampton/Winchester area?

If you're passing Basingstoke, I'll join. Assuming I get the S back on the road in time !

I'll be heading straight up the A34 from Winchester so Basingstoke is a bit out of the way for me.

PVN - I'll be coming up from Hythe/New Forest - M3 and then A34.

Ken/gifdy, I'm sure we could meet up at the services on the A34 - Mail me on my hotmail and we could exchange mobile numbers.

Clive F you have mail!

PVN any comments? For those of us from S'oton, Winch, Pompey, east New Forest, what about we meet at Sutton Scotney services (do Optimax!) - just in case anyone thought I meant Chievely.

Nick.

Sutton Scotney Services sounds good to me. Would 09:00 on the Saturday suit everyone?

Gents,
Yep Sutton Scotney sounds good - - might have a bit of trouble with the 0900 RV though!!
Should be an easy enough drive up to Ettington from there and I would imagine for those that are stopping over for Saturday night we wont be able to check in 'til midday.
OK see you Saturday - hopefully on time! CliveF has my mobile.

Hi Nick,

Unfortunately I didn't realise it clashes with the Lotus day at Castle Combe, so I won't make it. Feel like a bit of a traitor but I'm sharing an Elise for the day round the track. I'm sure Trev will forgive me.

OK Kenny,
I'm sure you'll enjoy Castle Coombe - Pity about having to miss out on SCH4 though!
Perhaps see you up at one of the Hants TVRCC meets?

Just booked the car ferry so will get to portsmouth for 7.45am, so assume it will take 45minutes to get to the services via m27 , m3 A34, so may have to wait around a little and sample the delights of the little rip off!
will you guys be there for 9 or later?

Clive,
See you at Sutton Scotney for around 9 a.m. then

I believe we'll have a good run up to Oxford at that time in the morning - traffic may just be building by the time we hit the ring road..I guess we'll take the A44 rather than the M40?

Probably loads of cameras <note to self> 'take the Snooper'!
See you Saturday - Nick
