Right, unless someone is filling up my car everynight I don't know what is going on.
The fuel gauge is stuck on the full side and occasionally drops down to the middle, goes up and down then back up again.
I need to carry a can of petrol just in case.
Anybody has any good advice on that? what can go wrong?

fuel sender could be a bad earth or bad connector or a faulty sender unit

Mine was wired up the wrong way round initially making it stay off the scale high. I have since rewired it and it still stays at the top.

It now seems to stay at full until you are getting towards what most cars would say the red! Then starts steadily sinking. I thought this was just the way they are but perhaps not. I always carry a can anyway and just fill up when it isn't registering full. Not accurate but good enough
