Inlet manifold sealant
Discussion
Hi all. Anyone with any advice on gasket sealants please. The Haynes book states I should use ford gasket sealant a70x..blah blah when I reassemble the inlet manifold around all the water holes etc., can't find the sealant part number anywhere not even google! So instead of visiting Uncle Henry I though I could just whip to Halfrauds and get some but which type... red, blue, black, gold what does it all mean!

S'okay! You've visited my profile then
Blue Hylomar was invented I think by Rolls Royce, and used throughout the Aerospace industry as a sealing compound. It really is good. I keep meaning to beg some more samples when I visit my Aerospace clients. Embarassingly it's actually a very long time since I actually bought any!
