White (V8)S on M5 Taunton junction last night 8.20

[V8S]

Just as I was coming up the sliproad and onto the northbound M5, I looked across to see a white V8S (I think it was a V8 - fleeting glimpse) heading south. I beeped but don't think the driver saw me.

First V8 I've seen on the road I think!

Don't think it was Darkmatter (Andrew) as quite far out of his local patch.

So whoever it was...

i think dark matter may have sold his v8s as it was for sale.it could have been my old s3 as it is still in the area,gary

Sorry to hear you're no nearer acquiring that Griff. Are you only advertising on PH?

I can't think of another white V8S on PH so maybe it's a lurker or someone who hasn't even heard of this fair website!

Hi Graham,
I've advertised on PH, TVRCC, and AutoTrader. Have received some phone calls and several email enquiries for further info which I have sent, and in most cases I never hear anything from them again. It's a shame it hasn't sold, but I'm in no hurry - it's a good car and it may take some time to find a Griff in similar condition so I'm continuing to use and enjoy it. Judging by the fact that there are still several other V8Ss for sale I get the impression that buyers are opting to pay less and go for the V6 S models.

Holy thread resurrection!

I did sell my white V8S back in 2006 I think it was. Originally registered J100 TVR but something like J240 LTR at the time of sale. I still have fond memories of that car, I wonder if it's still in use, in storage, or maybe scrapped?
