I'll be there (in a dirty S2, unless I can get away from work in time to clean it!)

Petclub will also be there, but not sure if he'll be in is V8S, the S2, on his Ducati... decisions decisions....

Hi Ian, the V8 is washed and waxed ready for tonight. Phil's taking his Vette and Tony his Alpine, so will see you there! (Always assuming I survive the 14.00 planning meeting!)

Will do, survived the meeting so will be there by about 18.30. Only problem with getting through that meeting is there are 2 more tomorrow, ho-hum!

Dave, It looked

Good to see you too Mrs BC but your car was too many fields away for me to go and look at it!

Also saw a blue S2 / early S3 near Petclubs - anyone here?

I don't think they appreciated the 'S' too much! I got sent to the top of the back field while a Calibra that had done a ram raid on Halfords which was behind me got to park down by the road! Will have to get there earlier next time!

Hi Adrian, sorry we didn't see your car as we didn't go that far up the hill. Did see the Calibra though.

Hi Ian, the S3 was beatutiful and moved to park in front of us. He comes from near Leics and is S3Rich.

I saw what you meant about the wax on the number plate, D'oh!

Hi all,

my first time eventually at ashby follville.
bit jealous of dave's V8, specially as it was such a bargain!

also a little shocked at the sheer volume of bikes there, i think at least a thousand...?
i didnt notice any wax on any number plate - too busy with the nice burble!

Richard.

I was parked right up there too ... was a bit of an adventure getting up there ! Didn't spot you though, but then again, didn't spend much time up there

You too Dave, your car looks great !!

Are you going to try to venture down to the Northants TVRCC meet tomorrow evening ? Fingers crossed I'll get there, although may have to be in the Cerbera in order to transport the kids !

Hi

This is my first time on PistonHeads. My Blue S2 was parked in the main field next to a Healey 3000 and a Calibra I think. Great event (my first time). Owned the S2 since April and slowly working through it; suspension, door hinges, bonnet allignment etc. Currently using it every day for work - beats the company Volvo. Hope to be at Ashby F again in August.

Hi Andy,
Was that you over to the left of the field? With your son? If so, then I wondered who you were!
Welcome to PH!

Welcome

Whereabouts in the East Mids are you Andy?

At this rate we'll have enough "local" members for a mini S Club in the Autumn.....now there's an idea

Hi Andy, welcome we're in Leicester. Sadly, I missed your car, although I did see a couple of big Healeys.

Hi Penny, we'd have loved to come over tonight, but I forgot it's my youngest leaving Junior School ceremony, so we'll be with him. We hope to be able to come and see you all at the end of July/early August though.

Ian, another good idea, you're a glutton for punishment!

Hi

I am based in Shepshed near Loughborough. Yes it was my son in the car - a confirmed TVR-ophile.
My mate who lives close by also has a blue S3 but couldn't attend last Tuesday and a green S has also been spotted in the village but I have not located it yet.
Hope to both attend Ashby F in August.
Regards
