Jesus, that's ridiculously good value! I would imagine it must have catD damage or similar. Too good to be true methinks....

I saw that one, was tempted until I got an insurance quote, it was about an extra £400 over a 4.0. Not necessarily that much of a problem but personally the 4.0 is fast enough for me so I resent spending an additional £400.

Was all set up to go and look at the £9k one in Basingstoke, had the cash ready and everything. Spoke to the dealer apparently it had only done 43k, was in very good condition and had, had 3 owners with a FSH (partial TVR) the reason it was ‘cheap’ was that it had a new digital speedo head. Was intending to investigate and confirm the history (and mileage) and if all was well walk away with a new car and a big grin but……

Ba****d dealer said they would call me when it was in, but never did so when I phoned them later in the day, guess what, yep it was sold! I hate car dealers; I’ve never met one that keeps to their word (well other than the missus of course! )

Ah well, maybe one day!!

Hi Shnozz,

Always mate, getting tempted on a daily basis at the moment!

Only problem is what with the recent wedding I’m still a little cash strapped, which wouldn’t be a problem if I wanted an ‘S’ but as I’ve been there and done that I fancy a Chimaera now. Besides the new wife doesn’t want an ‘S’ otherwise I’d of had a V8S by now…..married for only a few months and already under the thumb

Don't worry, I have plenty of mates who are under the thumb and they're not even married yet...
The women of today, terrible control freaks, aren't they?
