Inner wheel arches

Since changing my So2's for the bigger profile RE720's, i have noticed a lot of scraping on full lock between the tyre and the inner wheel arch. This is very apparent if I am leaning in a corner and there is any bump in the road, causing a loud noise as the tyre hits the arch. You can see the marks on the arch to confirm the point of contact.
I have had a look but cannot see any way of adjusting the arch at all. It seems to be fixed between points that could not allow it to be moved back at all. Has anyone experienced this and if so, what have they done to fix it? Any advice appreciated

It happens occasionally (usually low speed, full lock). I think it's because the car is more "nose-down" at the front since I had the spring/dampers done. Earlier cars (S1&2) tended to be more horizontal. I could raise the front very slightly (or tweak up the damper settings), but it's more noise than damage, as the arches and bonnet amplify the effect.

I think mine is a little more than that. I have noticed that on the driver's side a small hole is forming as a result of a number of contacts
I have non adjustable shocks too
It's almost certainly the springs ( if it were bent suspension then there would be a lot of vibration. ) The S is a very low car and is particularly sensitive to spring lengths and stiffness which in turn affect ride height ( even at parking speeds. )
It appears that they have been fitted with the 55 profile in mind, which was the fitment on the car at the time. What free length and rating are they?
At least springs are cheap.

shnozz is the rubbing on the part that is attached to the bonnet on on the NS only
. If so it may be that the inner wheel arch which is attached to the bonnet could be adjusted by moving the bolt holes where it connects to the bonnet, maybe? I've got mine in work today as its off to the doctor this afternoon
. If you have time give me a quick bell and we'll meet up outside to compare. or it could be the whole bonnet is misaligned

it mainly rubs on the OS. There is a few scuff marks on the NS but its never audible enough to be heard. I am thinking maybe the bonnet needs moving forward by a couple of mm.
The springs were new last summer and will have only had 2k or so done on them. Not too sure re ratings as I was planning on getting a more "sorted" set up when the shocks need replacing too. At the moment they are ok although certainly in their middle age.
Harry - am at the orifice until 5 mate so wont be passing through til late unfortunately. Thanks for the offer though.

hmm - mine attach view about 8 screws to the outside of the bonnet and then a couple of screws holding it to the middle section of the bonnet nearer the engine. I will see how flexible the arch is at the weekend and may re-site the bolts on the inner section to see if that just bends the angle a little to give it a little more clearance.

, that if you are happy with the position of the bonnet you could just resite the wheel arches, they only attach to the inside of the bonnet by 2 bolts.
