Good Vibrations - next step !!!
Discussion
Hi All,
I have had a rumble and vibration from the rear end at 70MPH onward for quite a while now - so having read through previous threads have had wheels balanced, renewed all inner and outer driveshaft C.V joints and have spent all day today stripping the prop shaft off only to take to specialist propshaft place and have them tell me there is nothing wrong with the UJ's and it is perfectly in balance - So what next ??? Anyone think of anything else before I source a new differential.
As a point of interest I had new bridgestones all round a few months back and just noticed the other day that one on the rear was on the wrong way round, obviously have been back and had it put on the right way now but would doing circa 1500 miles with it on the wrong way have done it any harm ???
Cheers in advance
Graham

I think I have the same thing. But I don't think it's dependant on the driveshafts etc. because when I put it in neutral, the vibration remains. Have you tried this?
Thought about the wheel bearings, because when rolling at low speed I hear little cracking sounds....
Hope you get it sorted out.
