The velcro fastening strip on both sides of the hood have come loose. Suggestions wanted please as to which is the best glue to repair this.

Didn't we do this one about a week ago? Seem to remember the advice was to clean all fluff off the hookey bits, then use araldite a couple of pop-rivits to secure it in place.

I didnt see this last week ..... My best guidance after using many glues on many bits of trim would be araldite if you have the patience.... Or I personally take a gun-ho approach and slap on some super-glue gel. Last job was using sticky velcro to hold my overmats in place, works a treat. Now that's a good idea - I'll do that this weekend. My legs are long and I fidget about quite a bit so my floor mats always end up under the pedals. -- Mark

Have just done mine - use Dunlop Adhesives S1358, sticks it down a treat. Also superb for resticking Ambla, even the little bits under the steering wheel boss as the glue is a high temperature one and WILL hold it in place.

Thanks lads, Araldite has done a great job (providing you have the patience to hold it in place while it sticks!)
