Tonight (after Liverpool match) I'll be starting the dashboard removal, (Well labeling all the bloody wires) and tomorrow night too probably, then on Saturday the dash comes out and the recovering begins.
Hopefully start the rebuild of the dash on Sunday.
Can't have the car off the road for long, I want to drive it !

I'm a psychologist; currently working in business/management consultancy. Reason for the S is that I've always wanted one; ever since I saw one thrash the pants off a load of Morgans at a Morgan club do when the S first came out..
Its my 1st so wanted to see what they are like; wasn't really prevented from a more exotic one as such, but think as I've literally just bought a flat, would have been silly to spend too much. Market it a bit slow in my line right now, so investing in commodities while I am able to
Next house move should provide a double garage with luck so I can put a Griff next to it.

I'm a transvestite nightclub cabaret act.
not really, but I am embarassed to say that I am a lawyer.
chose the S cos I have always wanted a TVR but the S was my first "proper" sports car and was worried bout jumping straight into a 4 litre and my budget was limited due to property purchases.

I am an engineer surveyor
ie: I work for an Insurance Company and carry out safety inspections on cranes, lifts and all kinds of lifting equipment. Been at it now for 30 years - man and boy!
I have friend, now retired from the same business who has had several Morgans of all models and rebuilt some from wrecks.
Attended all the MOG rallies with him and really wanted one myself.
However, the boss said no - "they leak and they are too expensive" so that was that.
I then turned my attention to an S3 and have been the proud owner of mine for 3 years.
Gone off Morgans now -they all look the same! Although I still go to Le Mans with the Morgan boys. I live in Wimborne. See Bobs Dorset Dawdle for photos.

I work in IT, as a network engineer, spend most of my time driving around the south to different clients sites installing servers
unfortunately servers don't fit in the boot of my S so its my second car.
I bought it because I have always wanted a TVR, something to do with the noise they make I think
!!. It is also a great car to have in the garage to tinker with on weekends which is something else I have always wanted.

I'm an electrical design engineer working in the building services sector - I was partly responsible for the Oracle in Reading
.....
Always wanted a TVR since my student days when I worked weekends opposite our local TVR dealer - I think it was the noise
.....
Bought the S as a 25th birthday present to myself after I got my company car, mainly because it was the only TVR within my budget (for value and insurance!) - but also possibley because it's the best looking TVR
.
Do quite fancy a V8S or Griff - but thats on hold due to a recent house purchase.

I sell plating plant to PCB manufacturers, and bought my S about 15 months ago, having wanted one for years. I use it as my daily transport and covered 15,000 miles in it last year. Seriously looked at 'upgrading' to a Griffith recently, but I decided I preferred the 'S' for looks and dynamics, but wanted a tad more power. I should have bought a V8S but had a moment of madness and replaced the 12V with the 24V engine. I always seem to choose the hard way to do things! (I have a Gaff rigged sailing boat built in 1921 which uses up all the rest of the time & money when I'm not TVR'ing)
Must be mad

I'm a telecoms manager working in the IT sector. This is my second TVR after owning a Vixen for about 10 years which I sold 5 years ago, it had sat in the garage since the kids came along. Anyone here seen DOO797G, sold it back to DG's and I belive it was sold on with the intention of being prepped for racing. Had wanted a TVR for about 5 years before buying the Vixen after reading about them in a mag.
Well after some changes in my personal life
, I was looking for a second car for some fun. I'd toyed with the idea of a kit car but decided I couldn't be a***d to spend all that time in a garage building a car and not drive it, (hmmmm there's a flaw in the logic there!). Then searching the web, a couple of TVR ads caught my eye, they were inside my budget so last November I bought one.
Haven't regretted it for a second, apart from maybe the 5000 mile limited mileage policy
Guess if money were no object then I'd like one of each please
but I'd start with a Tuscan and I'd love to get my old Vixen back but would need to move up North where I could afford the land!

I am a Team Leader for IT support with Visa International (no i can't clear any Credit Card debts)and i am hoping to be promoted soon...maybe i'll get that respray after all.
I brought myself a V8S as my 30th Birthday present (only i got it on my 29th as i could wait another minute let alone another year) as i have always promised myself a proper sports car. After the missus finished her law degree and started working i thought it was about time to splash out. I love my S and at the moment i don't see me changing it for a long time.

Trainee chartered accountant, qualify in October, so if I can survive till then, the car stays, if not
Live in london, but car is under wraps for the winter at parents in Ringwood as can't afford to do anything with it at the moment.
Bought it on a whim and had to explain why I needed a loan to my bank manager, found out he loves them as well, so no problems there then!

I`m a Plastic Injection Mould Tool Designer (long title). Basically, I design moulds that plastic is injected into to produce a plastic part. Sounds pretty simple but believe me ITS NOT!!!!
I had always wanted a TVR ever since I can remember but somehow had never seen an S (at least, I can`t recall ever having seen one) until I started to look for a TVR to own. Once I saw an S I just had to have one. Just what a British Sports Car should look like.
I LOVE IT!!!!
Roy.

Hi Schnozz,
Don't be embarressed about being a lawyer, the early days we had together in our act were great !! (allegidly :without prejudice: fassus sum-coniveo:coniveo)
I'm retired now and have been for 12 years, doesn't time fly, got the bus pass but use the S2 on a regular basis, got the Dellow up for sale, and the "day car" is for the long trips when I can hear the CD.
Got an interesting list of cars "I have owned" but would only get boring.
(Dellow can be seen on www.Dellowregister.com) - end of commercial.
Cheers
