I have just discovered that my S2 hasn't got a jack or wheelbrace (I never look in the depths of the boot!) Does anyone know what the jack is from & where I can get one ?

Cheers

New - any car spares outlet
Used - any good scrapyard. Look for appropriate Ford model to find a wheel brace and hunt around for a standard scissor jack in the boot of scrapped cars.

My S2 came with a scissor jack in a "tool bag" but I can't guarantee its the original, all paper labels seem to have worn off. It has stamped on the top SWL 750kg and stamped inside the scissor section the part no. 7255B. If you are still not clear, e mail me and I will send you a digital photo of mine.

Thank John

I'm sure that I can find one at a scrap yard - I just need to know what the top of the jack is like. Is it a 'U' shape?

Cheers

Yes, but a very shallow "U". More like the bottom part of an "O" if that makes sense.
