Stone Chip Advise Please

I have been trying to get rid of a nasty stone chip on my bonnet for weeks now but am struggling!
The chip is small but went right down to the fibreglass. I have been building it up with touch-up paint, when the paint was higher than the original, I used T-Cut to even it out. Problem is it is still very noticeable...Is there anything else I can try?
Anyone got any tips on this?

Without proper painting you've probably done the best you can to be honest. Those touch-up paint's are rarely an exact match, and assume you have a non metalic finish i.e paint's not lacquered too. If you know someone who has a polishing mop get them to compound the area which might help.

To touch up you are along the right lines. Build the area with the paint, not too high though, ensure that it has dried out and cured properly, using one of those Infa Red lamps is good. Then over build the rest of the area with 2K lacquer. Once this is done you can flat down using P1500 or P2000 Wet and dry. Flat out the surrounding area a little as well. Once you have achieved flatness you can Polish up with some Faracela G3 or suchlike either by hand or machine.

Useful tip when applying touch up paint it to drop it on from the end of a matchstick. It then flows into the hole and creats a bubble which is usually easier to sand down afterwards..
