Any Berkshire/ Reading S's out there?

Hello all,

I'm seriously looking at getting myself an S series, and I was just wondering whether there are any Berkshire Phers with an S-series who would be willing to let me take a look at their S 'in the flesh' as it were.

One of the local Phers has already told me that the Berks Tiv pub meet is on the 19th Sept and that a few will be there, but there are a few coming up in the classifieds that look ideal, so I'm keen to check one out sooner rather than later.

BUT, they're quite a way-away so it would be nice to see one and chat to an owner who isn't trying to sell me the car! If you see what I mean.

I live in Twyford near Reading and have an S3 that I have just finished a body off restoration on. I would be happy to show you the car and chat about my experience. Only thing is its off the road for a couple of weeks with a wheel bearing issue so I couldn't take you for a spin.

Cheers mate, I'm in Pangbourne. Like I say I know there's a pub meet on the 19th, but I'm hoping that I might actually have one to bring along by then. Missus has given permission and I don't want to hang about for her to change her mind now do I

Im in Thatcham. Mine is the one in practical classics april edition and has had a body off rebuild, you can pop over and see it if you like.

I am just toying with the idea of selling it as well so you may even be tempted.

Hi Mick,

how are you, yes i sorted the mountings, apparently they are from a capri but i had to use spacers too, as the sump was almost resting on the roll bar.

Hi, sorry this reply is late, been a bit busy, I even missed the latest TVR meet (Sorry Graham).
I am on the Berks/Hants/Surrey border and have an S3C, which was sat outdoors for a few years before I bought it in March, so it has some signs in areas that you should be looking at.
Happy to help in anyway, although it will be coming off the road for the winter shortly so I can get some more jobs done on it.
Let me know if I can be of assistance as it won't be at another TVR meet until the spring.
