All,

I have been considering fitting an induction kit to my S2. I know K&N do one for the TVR.

What I am unsure of is what exactly it comprises? Is it just an uprated filter or are there other components which will need fitting (I always though an induction kit was a mechanical system which force feeds air into the manifold?).

Again, do I need to have the injection re-mapped or will I need a new chip to sort the fueling? What sort of BHP hike can I expect from the 2.9 V6?

The difference compared to the standard Pipercross will be minimal.

TVR did a good job on the induction in the first place, thats partly why they got 168 bhp out of an engine that Ford were only getting 150 bhp out of.. I'd spend the money on something else

Cheers
Matt.

PS: " (I always though an induction kit was a mechanical system which force feeds air into the manifold?). "

Nope.. thats either a Supercharger or TurboCharger (depending on if its exhaust driven or not.. IIRC)

Combination of K&Ns and my pipe make my car sound most interesting. Not familiar enough with others to know about power, (plus not had it long enough to really test that out..)
