Shocks & Springs - Should they Squeek ???

Had new Gaz adjustables and springs fitted March this year and I am very pleased with the results indeed. However I have driven my car today for the first time in a few weeks and theres a really annoying squeek from I think the front driverside when the shock is extended.

Is this normal ???

Mine old ones do that too. I thought it was the bushes, I keep meaning to put some silicon grease on them. Somedays it sounds like a V8 wooden wagon coming down the road. In fact with the dash and the rest of the car going for it, it's like cicadas at sunset. Good job I have a sports exhaust.

a squirt round with some rubber-friendly spray should sort it if it's a dry bush.

Anyone got recommendations of spray to use - mine squeak embarrassingly too.

We did change the oil a few months back and found some shocks squeak, I don't argue about this I just replace them.
