Decided to goto Belfast for the right connectors for the new window switches.
Washed the S2 down, vac'd the interior, just as I finished the sun came out, so off came the roof, and folded the new Griff struts down. (must photo them)
So off I went to Belfast, in the sun, with the roof off, got to Belfast, laughed at some Yellow Honda thing with a burblely (He thought) exhaust sitting at the lights, pulled up along side, blipped the throttle a few times to let him hear a REAL exhaust note. Lights change and I was gone......
Got my connectors, and head home, get home just in time for the start of the Liverpool vs Man U Cup Final, watch that while putting connectors onto the end of the new window switches, In between some loud shouting like 'Stevie Gerrard!!!' and 'Michael OWWWWEEEENNNNN!!!'.
Match is over and Im SOOO happy Liverpool have beaten Man U, and even better the new window switches pop into dash and lo and behold my windows are working....
I head out for another run in the car while the sun is still shining, visit a couple of mates, go for a run round some back roads, gotta love those big bridges overhead as you drive under them
, but it's getting late, I head back home and park it up in the Garage.
15Mins later it starts to rain, but I don't care.... What a day
Can't wait for the summer !

hehe Well you still have the Champions League and the Premiership to go for, Liverpool only have the UEFA Cup left now.
But hey, that was only part of my good day, today was the first time I've been out in the car, in the sun, and with the recovered dash in place it felt GREAT !
Im gonna love this car during the summer !

Yeah nice work - good reading and viewing - I finished digging out my front lawn today, so I hope to have a fully operational drive in about two weeks - then the search for my new baby really starts.
These TVR's are more addictive than I realised - can't believe I spent my last two weekends turning what was a perfectly good garden into a rain soaked quagmire (SP) just to have somewhere to put an old unreliable and thirsty car - problem is Im buzzing with the whole idea.

, hopefully they will be good games, I think Martin O'Neill is fantastic (Northern Ireland link there!). And to get loosely back on topic, Im sitting in my office looking out at what looks like a lovely day, God I wish I was off today...
Do other people think like this, no longer look at a sunny day and think, yeah this is nice, but think 'Ahhh it's sunny, I wish I had the TVR out !'

i had a great roof off weekend after fitting the new brake light switch and sticking the temporary one back on the handbrake. some great roads, some great weather and some generous loud pedal overtaking
next weekend though I am off to have a few beers before watching my boys in the FA cup quarter finals against the wolves
