Manifold Sensors

My S3 is having problems starting. A mechanic has noticed my Manifold Sensor has been disconnected, is this a problem and could it be the reason for my TVR not starting?

You should have 2 sensors? Is it only one disconnected?
Have you tried reconnecting it?

Thanks for the advice. When i re-connect the sensor the engine revs abnormally high. Something is wrong???

Are you sure you've not got an S3c with the cats removed. It sounds like the cats have been removed the Lamda senors disconect instead of the ECU being remaped

Mine has cats removed. Sensors still connected, car runs fine.

I forgot to mention it is an S3C as well.
