Workshop manuals?

As winter comes closer, the indoor garage season starts here in Sweden. That has got me thinking about if TVR ever made any workshop manuals for the S Series. Does anyone know if they did? I've already got the S Series Bible and I'm planning to buy Haynes manual for the Sierra V6, but is there any other documentation you would like to have if you plan to do all servicing of your S on your own?

Doing all work on my S3 using just Steve Heath's Bible and the Granada Haynes manual with its handy 2.9 V6 section at the back. Every job so far (engine, suspension, trim etc) has all been covered in either these 2 publications or by searching on this most excellent forum!

Thanks, yes I agree that The Bible and this forum are excellent sources of information, let alone www.tvrsseries.com/ .

But what if you would like to go further and for example connect a PC to the ECU and monitor things that way? Has anyone done that? I know that PC-software for doing this on newer TVRs is possible to get through the forums here, so that's why I started thinking about it.

There's a Haynes manual that covers the EEC IV system that is used on the 2.9 V6 if you really want to get into the diagnostics.

Not sure where you can get the software from though, ebay?

You can buy a reasonably cheap Gunsons diagnostic unit to plug into the diagnostic port and will give you a read out of the diagnostic codes.

Thanks, I will have a look around to see what I can find. After only a few minutes of googling it became clear to me that the EEC IV unit has been used on a wide variety of cars.
