Could do with replacing the side repeaters on the S, as they're looking a little grotty... tried (carefully) to pull one out yesterday, but it didn't seem to convinced that it wanted to part from the car... is there a knack (sp?)

just wedged in there mate. there is a slight V shape to them but give one side a yank, push in a screwdriver to behind the lense so the "other" side is compressed and this should release the side with teh screwdriver pushed into. If that makes any sense

edited to add - be careful when you tug them out. It seems that the S has about 3 mm of wiring into the bulb holder for the repeaters. If it comes away from the holder you will be hours trying to locate the bloody thing.

That sounds like the voice of experience Phil . Can you get at the back by removing the inner wheel arch does anyone know?

Mondeo oval indicators fit if you enlarge the hole.
Less prone to damage too, but you can't revert to the square type.
