S2 rear wheel bearing issue - help please!

I've been supplied a bearing set from the local autostore, which has been listed as being fine for the S2, but when I took it out of the box is was a one-piece, wide bearing with one seal, damn. I've just taken two identical tapered roller bearing and 2 seals out of the housing! The wheel is the rear O/S, but I'm sure both rear bearing sets will be the same, and the housing has various steps inside it to take one race fitted from the ouside and one fitted from the inside.

Does anybody know the part number of the correct bearing kit or can anybody tell me what standard ford parts will do the job, Sierra, Granda etc?

Any help would be apprciated as the car is now stuck, wheel hub dismantled on the side of the road and Christmas is fast approaching!

Should be from a Sierra.

Thanks very much. I've mentioned this Motorcraft part number to the shop to help them on their search. Initially they said that they didn't recongnise the number, but they've gone off to search some more anyhow. Looks like this fix will have to wait until after Crimbo! Thanks again.

The mentioned motorcraft partnumber 5010762 is listed for the FRONTS.
The rears IMHO should be: 5011392. If you have any problems getting them I can send you a set. Cheaper as your local FORD dealer.

I ended up quoting the actual bearing number from the old ones to the shop as they weren't having much luck with the Motorcraft ones and they managed to find me some kits which have done the job. I fitted them yesterday with no problems, apart from the new nut being too large a diameter to fit the thread on the end of the half shaft. So, old nut went back on!

Ive just changed mine on my S3 in ignorance I just said it was Sierra at the motor factors and I think excluding Cosworths they are all the same &
Cost about £20 a set.

The sets are handed - I didnt understand this at first but the new nut coming with the set is either left or right handed. My N/S wheel is left hand thread.
