Anyone know of a good independent garage in Notts. Got an S1 with (very) heavy miles that could do with a bit of general tidying. I've had no luck trying to find somehere to help.

thanks

I use Colin Blower at Hickley and have found them brilliant. www.colinblower.co.uk
The bloke to ask for is Merv who can cope with any problem. To get there just go down the M1 then M69 to J2 to Hinckley follow signs to town centre an right at B&Q.

There's Julian at Joospeed in Chesterfield. A lot on here take their Tivs to him. Joospeed is his alias on here too, if you want to look at his profile, or go to

I've used Merv at Colin Blower in the past for my Chimaera, and never had any problems, and next week it goes to Joolz for the 1st time
Taffstalini, uses Ian Nuthalls in Basford quite a lot, depends what you need doing I s'pose

Just to elaberate Ian Nuthalls prepair and maintain a number of historic racing cars together with the usual array of classics. Their experience and engineering skill is second to none and they charge very sensible money. The knowlege they have gained on my car would also benefit any other S owner.

Frank Sytner uses them for his array of classics (if that is any kind of recommendation).

Most handy for me as they are only 2 mins from the office.

Spotted the S outside Nuthalls today, looks good.

Mine was on the ramps in the lower workshop. Still trying to decide what to do with the suspension set up. (see other thread)

Hope it all goes well.
