Under extreme pressure from the girlfriend I was forced to put my S up for sale with the agreement that if it did not make 6K i could keep it with no arguements.
It only made £1550 on ebay so now I get to keep it and absolutely no moaning from the missus for a year. It cost me £20 but money well spent I think.

It's funny you should say that cos' my excuse is I wont get 6k for it.
I've been monitoring another red one in classifieds for the last twelve days..he still hasn't sold and he's been on ebay twice already...watta' bumma' another summer of no roof motoring....
MOT due next month though...

That would be mine. I've got two people coming to view this weekend.
The bidding on ebay got over to £4000, but the questions you get from people wanting to swap their one wheeled caravan + £10 are hilarious. At least half the emails were from scammers!!
I've really enjoyed owning the car but two young kids & work etc etc are turning it into an ornament.Would definately buy another when they are older......hmmm, how old do they have to be to eject them?

Same problem and solution, must sell motorbike, dangerous, never ride it blah d blah. OK well lets get an S2 instead says I, ok says she. S2 parked in garage and cant sell the bike depsite how 'hard' i try, hehe

I did mention to Madame that I might sell the S as I'm currently looking at a Lotus . I got one of those 'over my dead body' sort of looks and 'its part of the family' comments.

Good man.. Going well I hope.. Must try to catch you sometime soon..

Currently wondering if the 145 will make it through its MOT and considering a replacement. A 944 S2 looks like a strong contender, (4 seats and a boot, so that makes it a sensible runaround I think..)

Had the same from my wife, and she was behind the change to the Cerb.

Ironically she was also the first to say it wasn't like a "proper" TVR and here I am bakc with a V8S
