Wheely Good or Chavtastic?

New wheels now fitted and I am dead chuffed as I think they suit the car well. Retro looking and bright without being too blingy.

What do you guys think?

Looks nice, my that is a good looking car . I see it's one of those days where it looks more black than green, boy I miss it.

Cheers Harry, I'm glad you like them. I did say I'd look after it. Service and MOT are all in hand for the the week after next while I'm away on hols.

Yes the colour can look different sometimes. It was bright sunshine this morning when I cleaned it up but by the time I'd finished it was hazy/overcast. I waited for a sunny moment but it just didn't come. Still looks good though.

I won't ask about the Cerb as I don't want you in tears what with you being TVR-less and the sun shining (occassionally)!

Thanks for your kind words Guys! Only thing I'm not looking forward to is cleaning between all the fiddly spokey bits! Oh well everything at a price I suppose.

Meguiars do a fantastic wheel brush - a bit like a fox's tail. That & Autoglym wheel cleaner works on my Oz lattice split rims, which have even more fiddly spokey bits...... HTH

I must admit I have never been a fan of modern wheels on classics,but you seem to have got the balance right there, they certainly look good, and definately not "Chavvy", which had I tried to imagine them, I thought they would have done. Good choice, just watch the kerbs as lots of modern wheels seem to stand proud of the tyre.
