Hello ...... and help!!

Hi all. I have just bought my first 'S' - thrilled to bits!

However .....

And I knew to expect this ....

A list of things needing done. The most pressing of which is that one side of the bonnet does not secure. The problem is that the right angle plate that holds the catch is missing - completely. Catch and all.

Any ideas? Anyone got a badly mashed bonnet that still has plate and catch in tact? Or is it fabrication time? Anyone know where to source the catch itself.

The bonnet catches look as if they come straight off a mini. Worth trying a breakers yard!
