Fuse Box

Hi All

I need to check the fuses on my S3, now i understand that the fuse box is located in the passenger footwell but taking a quick look this morning (without getting my head in contact with the carpet and my legs in the air) I could not see it. Do i need to remove some paneling to get to it and where exactly is it located.

Its behind the panel in the top of the passenger footwell. The panel itself is tucked under the bottom lip of the dash and you might have to pull this forward a bit to get the panel to drop down.

Down be suprised if the scene that greets you looks like an explosion in a spaghetti factory

My drop down panel is held in place with velcro and a wing nut which fastens onto a stud.

Its behind the panel usually when the panel is opened the snakes leap out,getting the panel shut agaain can be a challange

Yup, said spaghetti factory tumbles out when you get the panel down, with the fuse block amongst it. One thing I found whjen putting it all back was to make sure that the fuse block is the right way up; if upside down gravity plays its part and the fuses disconnect!

I suggest taping all relays into their sockets and putting a tape round the block of fuses too.
