.... The V8s is gone...... sold to it's new owner this morning.....
As I said in the 'Best Photo of your car' thread on General Gassing, I always thought the car sounded good, from inside the car whilst driving, but it wasn't until the new owner drove away today that I realised just how glorious the sound is from outside.......There were tears !

Hi Roger,
It behaved itself perfectly, apart from a flat battery, but that was my fault!
As for many more miles, the first year did a few thousand, but last year I hardly got to use it, difference between last years MOT and this years 300Miles! It left me with 61K
Sooooo gutted, didn't want to sell it, but needs must

And get the S2 back on the road, but to be honest, I'll probably end up selling it too, and then buy a cheap track day only car and trailer. As I REALLY enjoyed the track days!

I purchased for about 12.5K from a Major in the army who lived near Oxford, this was in 2003. Mileage at this time was about 48K. He'd obtained it from a TVR dealer in the NE who'd got it in PX for a Chim from a Yorkshire farmer - had a long chat with him when purchasing it.
How are the carpets holding out - AR Pound replaced them, thought they did a great job at the time!
The Mrs isn't a member here - but she owns me, warts and all (I don't talk to her about previous owners ;-))
I'm always keeping an eye on who's selling their V8's - but Andy hasn't put his in the classifieds yet, so I'm bidding my time (think I'm joining a long queue for K40).
