There was a thread ages ago on the TVRCC forum - someone was requesting an S1 or S2 for a magazine article on bargain sports cars. Interested parties were advised to contact Ralph Dodds from the TVRCC to register their interest.

I noticed today in the July C&SC that they have such a piece comparing about 8 sports cars for appox £5K. I guess this is the 'magazine article' and you got the wrong 'Doddze'!! The piece looked quite good anyway. I didn't buy the magazine but I did cheekily read the S write up at the newsagents.
