Thought I would post a few lessons learned from recent brake work carried out. I have only had the S3 a few weeks but have had to replace a rear (drum) wheel cylinder recently. This was straightforward apart from the copper pipework with brass unions seizing in the cylinder (Thankyou Brakespeed Cardiff for the new copper pipework and unions made up!!). Replaced the pipe and wheel cylinder then had to bleed brakes. Option 1, pump brakes and bleed, failed miserably. Could not get air out. Option 2, Gunsons Eazibleed, which I already had, worked well!! Then the servo misbehaved, Saab 9000 type tandem master cylinder with remote reservior. So took off the vacuum pipe, replaced and lubricated rubber seals for the vacuum pipe, then re assembled and blead again, Result!!
nice to get a result,,, well done
