Possible fuel starvation issue?

Now 95% of the time my S is fine but sometimes when pulling away at low revs it will 'kangaroo' a bit like it's not getting any fuel through.

I've also noticed it does this occasionally towards the top of the rev range, as if it's hit a rev limiter.

It only really appears to do this when the car is hot.

I know it's just gone through it's MOT so I wonder if it might be running too lean (to get through emissions).

Any ideas?
