just an update on our colour... I was in Hexham Horseless Carriages today as I heard they had an S for £10k so I had to have a look, half expecting it to be overpriced (sorry Tony) but I have to say it was tip top... what a belter it is... wish I had the money... anyway, Tony saw my car and recognised the reg as a car sold out of Harrogate Horseless Carriages and said he probably sold mine originally (small world eh ?) and then said the colour was Saab Burnt Quartz !!! so thats why the Citroen Quartz does not match !

I wonder how they manufacture that colour....paint a saab in citroen quartz....burn the m^therf@cker and than scrape into can...

Went to the Saab dealer yesterday...after going through the (older) books...conclusion: they don't know about "burnt quartz". They do know "rose quartz" not sure if that matches. I'll try to find out more soon.

Hmmm maybe my ears are bad... I can see the SAAB colour code list for the 1989-1990 period and can see Rose Quartz but not "Burnt" I searched for cars of that colour and it does look promising... sorry for any confusion I caused.
