I'm looking for comments regarding reducing the ride height on the rear shocks/springs (AVO). My V8S seems to have better than average clearance between the rear wheel arches and tyres, what would the pros and cons be if I was able to lower the ride height?

I'm not sure why but all the standard V8S's I've seen seem to have an excess of daylight between the rear wheels and the wheel arch.
Saying that, it does seem to get better when you put a big(ish) bloke in the drivers seat and put your foot on the accelerator it does squat quiet nicely to an even keel .
I'm sure Peter H will put you right on this as i think he's probably done more setting up on the S than TVR did with the development car , something to do with highspeed stability or some such springs to mind .
To be quiet honest I've never been totally hapy with the amount of daylight myself, hence I've stuck with the original 60 profile tyres to try and keep it from getting worse. I have considered, like Peter has done fitting the 16" rims to even it out a bit.
