I am just getting quotes to Insure my S3c, using the imfo on this site a week or so ago , after one call I am already saving about £90 ! But a question.....my car is registered as an S3c and that is what i am telling the insurance co's however it is de-catted, does this count as a modification and should I tell the insurance co's , I know if it came to a pay out they would look for any reason not to settle !
Any advice much appreciated.

If its been de-catted then its been modified away from its original specification therefore definatly tell your insurance company, just to save any problems in the future.

I also informed ins company that car was fitted with sports exhaust and chimaera wheels, which were mods from original spec. Never had any increase in premium.

Hope everything is ok with the S.

Thanks for that Steve, I will give all that imfo to the insurers.
The car is great, still grinning after nearly 12 months of ownership !
