What Springs to fit ?

I'm going to replace my dampers & springs on my V8S.
I'm totally confused what springs to fit or what the original spec was.

I'm looking for the comfortable end of firm, I don't want it to be hard and jarring as I generally use my car on longer journeys.

All wisdom gratefully received.
I already have 2 AVO dampers to fit which I bought off fleabay.
Would you suggest i use these or stick them back on ebay and go for something else ?

I plan to fit them myself unless there's a compelling reason why I shouldn't, then get them setup once they are on the car, inc geometry when I've also done the top ball joint.
