2.8 Manifolds

After me posting saying how great the new manifolds looked, encountered a slight problem.

Turns out the nearside manifold is not a 2.8 manifold. Its from an early MK IV 2.3 Cortina. Now these are like rocking horse poo!!

Problem- the car has had both manifolds stripped, old ones disposed before problem discovered. Now P&J sitting in garage, going into 4th week there with no immediate solution. Does anyone anywhere know where I can get hold of on of these. I have tried everything from FORD clubs to the classic TVR forums.

If no joy then my only option is custom made expensive jobbies which is not ideal as I had plans for a cossie conversion next year so would be a total waste of money if someone has one laying around.

Any help at all would be great!!

Unfortunately no, I have a brand new pair of those, only the offside one will fit. The nearside one won't fit as chassis rail is in the way, TVR got round this by using an obsolete cotina manifold- not many cortina's around now, especially the 2.3 version

guys says he thinks they are 2.3 cortina manifolds for £15 each.

He's not sure if they are granada, but would a granada 2.3 manifold be easier to track down anyway ???
