Removing rear hub nut

Anyone got any suggestions on how to remove the rear hub nut which is torqued up to 200lb/ft. I can't shift the &^%$# thing and yes, I am trying to undo it in the right direction.

Was thinking of buying a 600mm breaker bar and putting a scaffold tube over it but I'm worried that the bar will just bend.

Anyone know what the garages use?

You need a good quality 3/4" drive socket set with a breaker bar and scaffold pole - If the socket set are good quality they should take this level of punishment!!!! This sort of torque is not unique to TVR - most makes use these sort of torques on hubs. You'll end up with a face like the emoticon though!!!!

Note also step 1, as well as 2 - use the spare wheel because it has a bigger central hole and the socket doesn't fit through the central hole of the standard wheel. I wouldn't advise trying to loosen a nut that tight, with the car on a jack or axle stand - 4 wheels on the ground for that bit, thank you!
