My best mate once owned a gutman pug. It was a fanrasic beat at the time. In a Pearlescent shade of 12 colours ! But we renamed her `Olive` after she ditched all her oil on the M6 Penrith whilst racing a bike at 120mph. (you could do that back in 1988 !) Bye bye engine

Was the fan still wired direct to the ignition? Everyone said it would burn out after a week, six years later it was still running.

Someone must have sorted the fan out, it actually worked correctly. I put a stainless super-sports exhaust on it a few years back and boy did it sound good. Great car, well cared for by the previous owners, I sold it with all old MOTs, tax disks and comprehensive history. Hopefully someone will turn up on here to say they have bought it!

I'm north-east of Derby.
Bought PAJ just before I got married (waved a fistful of cash under the noses of Harrogate Horseless Carriages one weekend and said 'take it or leave it') and since then it's spent most of the time tucked safely away in the garage.
I want to take it into a local specialist for them to make sure that it's okay before I start doing things like long runs and track days, but have heard that TVR Power can be a little pricey. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
Oh - main difference of note that I see from the photos is that at some point someone has replaced the interior wood door trim and dashboard with metal trim that is a close match to the greyey/bluey/silvery body colour.

I had the dash stripped and sprayed to match the bodywork due to some eager valleter from Harrogate H C who chipped off a large piece of the wood effect dash, it was in quite a bad way. Also stripped the wood effect of the door trims for the same reason. As the last owner please feel free to ask any questions.Oh, congrats on the marriage by the way.

Surprised that it is a cat 'C' and not completely written off.
In pure money terms is it worth it?? Nice to keep it on the road but........

That's funny, all their stock has gone ?I think when I looked earlier said damage limited to suspension (not chassis) so, like mine, just a cat C.
Interior looks to have suffered a bit but sure this is another one that could reasonably easily be saved?
