I've done 16,000 miles in mine, I have absolutely no idea what its fuel consumption is because it doesn't matter - whatever it is, it's worth it.

I spent close on £100 on fuel getting to SCH and back, just over 600 miles. I think that works out in the high 20s, so 30 from a V8 is pretty good I think.

I can get 30mpg out of my V8 if it is driven carefully.
Not sure about this 70 business though, isn't that a mimimum ??

Can get it up to 15 mpg on a cruise if I stay off the gas - down to 5 if I boot it. (Yes it's running a little rich!)

I haven't got a V8, but I don't bother keeping track of fuel economy either. Hope it's a bit more than GreenV8S though!!

On the Thunderball run to Blackpool I achieved 25mpg which was respectable given we weren't exactly dragging our feet.

Best on record is 32mpg, worst 9 mpg on Christmas morning run, on the hoof , Banstead to Hull in under 3 hours

Last time I worked it out (April 07) I'm getting 24mpg and the most miles I've done between fuel stops is 233miles.

30 mpg and 105.1 db !! what a guy. you only beat me by .1 db I found the exhaust leak was my exhaust manifolds loose good for .2extra db i think !! Went to the blackpool meet on wednesday, past a DB9 on the motorway and spat 3foot flames out of the exhaust at him !
